1. What This Website Is

This is an independent private reference site. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves records, performs official background checks, or submits documents for visitors.

Its purpose is to identify the custodians of Oneida County criminal records, including Oneida County Sheriff's Office, the District Court and Magistrate Division, Idaho State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification, and the Idaho Central Sex Offender Registry, while also linking to optional third-party research tools. Requests to local government offices are governed by the Idaho Public Records Act, Idaho Code Title 74, Chapter 1, not by these private-site terms.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the site, you agree not to:

• Use automated scrapers, bots, or similar tools against these pages
• Violate a federal, Idaho, or local law through your use of the site
• Harass, stalk, threaten, or intimidate another person with information found here
• Use the content for hiring, housing, credit, lending, or insurance decisions
• Attempt unauthorized access to any system or account
• Disrupt service or prevent others from accessing the site

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or discriminate. This restriction is especially important for the Idaho Central Sex Offender Registry. Idaho Code §18-8326 provides criminal and civil consequences for prohibited misuse. Registry information supports public-safety awareness, not vigilantism or discriminatory action.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not create credit reports, background checks, or any other consumer report. Our advertising partners likewise do not provide a service intended to assess applicants, renters, insurance risks, or creditworthiness. Information from this site or a linked tool must not be used to:

• Assess creditworthiness or establish insurance premiums
• Make a hiring or termination decision
• Evaluate a renter or housing applicant
• Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit
• Carry out any other activity regulated by the FCRA

Where a lawful regulated purpose requires a background check, use Idaho State Police Bureau of Criminal Identification or an FCRA-compliant screening provider.

The site's general account of Oneida County criminal records is not legal advice. Only a licensed Idaho attorney can advise how a charge, conviction, warrant, expungement rule, or Clean Slate requirement applies to a particular situation.

6. No Warranties

All site content and services are supplied "as is," without a guarantee that:
